How giving it works

    You give it

    Pay once — $79, and that’s the last time your card is involved. Tell us who it’s for.

    You hand it over

    We email you a printable announcement card with your family’s join link on it. Put it in an envelope, tuck it under a plate at dinner, or just forward it.

    They join through the card

    The link works without the app and walks everyone in. The family’s year of Plus starts the day they join — not the day you paid.

    It happens this Sunday

    Fifteen minutes, one phone passed around the table, four rounds. You don’t wait a year to find out whether your gift worked. You’re in the room when it does.

This isn’t a year of writing assignments

The fine print, plainly

Does it renew?
No. It’s one payment for one year, and nothing is ever charged automatically. Near the end of the year we’ll ask whether you’d like to give another one — that’s it.
When does the year start?
When your family joins through the card’s link. Buy it in October for a December birthday and nobody loses a day.
What if they already use Haklo?
The year is applied to their family’s account on top of whatever they have. Reply to your receipt and we’ll take care of it.
What’s included?
Everything in Haklo Plus, for every member of the family — grandparents, parents, kids, the cousin who never texts back.
