Delete your Haklo account

This page is for Haklo, a family weekly-gathering app from Haklo.

Delete from inside the app

The fastest way to delete your data is from within the app. Two options:

• Delete the entire family. Settings → Delete Family. This removes all members, gatherings, entries, decisions, arcs, notices, and coaching history for that family.
• Remove a single member. Settings → Family Members → tap the member → Remove Member.

In-app deletion is immediate. The data is removed from our database the moment you confirm.

Delete by email

If you can’t access the app, or you want your entire account removed (including the underlying auth record), email privacy@haklo.app from the address associated with your account, with the subject Delete account.

What gets deleted

• Family record and all members
• Gathering history — check-ins, priorities, goals, and kindness logs
• Decisions, member arcs, peer nudges, and coaching messages
• Heard notes, both sent and received
• Profile pictures
• Push notification tokens
• Authentication account (email-based deletion only)

What we retain

Nothing. There is no retention period beyond the time it takes to process the request.

Timeline

Account deletion is processed immediately for in-app deletion. Email-based requests are processed within 30 days, typically within 48 hours.
